The professional ballet world is smaller than it looks and far less written down than you would expect. Auditions are announced in places nobody tells you about, companies hire through people they already know, and applications are judged on things no school teaches.
None of it is about how well you dance.
It is about understanding how the world you are trying to enter actually works, and knowing what to do with that. It is what a consultation is for.
How I can help
What we work on depends on where you are and what you need most. It might be any of these:
- Writing your professional ballet CV, or sharpening the one you have.

We go through your CV together and make sure it shows you at your best. I will help you shape it around what theatres and ballet companies actually look for, and keep it clear, professional and quick to read — because it will be read quickly.
- Choosing the right photographs and building an audition portfolio that works.

We work out which poses, angles and kinds of photograph suit you, and which ones bring out your strongest qualities as a dancer. From there I will help you pick the set that presents you most professionally for auditions and applications.
- Choosing your variations and getting you ready for the audition itself.

I will talk you through how auditions usually run, what to expect on the day, what to concentrate on and how to present yourself in the room. We can also choose a variation that suits you and work on it together, guided by your goals and by what the audition asks for.
- Finding the auditions, companies, touring projects and communities that matter.

I will show you the communities, groups and chats where ballet jobs, auditions and touring work are actually posted — the ones you tend to hear about only from someone already inside. I can also tell you what touring life is really like: how it works, what to expect and what to be ready for.
- Getting you ready for your first professional tour or production.

A new tour or production is demanding, especially when the choreography has to go into your body fast. I can help you learn it and rehearse it beforehand, so that you walk in on the first day ready to work rather than trying to catch up.
- Private classes and rehearsals, online or in the studio in Bratislava.

We focus on whatever you need most: technique, variations, performance quality, repertoire, or getting your form back.
Every dancer arrives with different training, different strengths and different goals, so no two consultations look the same.
My aim is not just to tell you where to apply. It is to leave you understanding how this world works, able to recognise an opportunity when it appears, and confident about taking the next step yourself.
